Child hypnosis
If fears and problems in children go untreated, they can lead to long-term psychological problems that impact their academic, personal, and professional lives. Affected children often develop low self-confidence, feel isolated, or are bullied. Child hypnosis can help with this – especially with sleep problems, concentration difficulties, and anxiety.

Why hypnosis for children and adolescents?
During the first four years of life, it is crucial to provide a child with security, love, and trust. These feelings should be experienced during pregnancy in the womb. Unfortunately, this security is briefly taken away from a child immediately after birth when they are separated from their mother and examined. It is important to restore this feeling as quickly as possible, otherwise problems may arise later.
The earlier children’s fears and problems are addressed, the sooner they can be resolved, and the rest of their lives can be happier. Because hypnotherapy is a short-term therapy, children are usually motivated to cooperate, allowing them to quickly return to their hobbies and passions. Of course, there are children who can transform negative experiences into positive ones on their own and grow from them. However, few children succeed. Some children are more resilient than others, often due to the positive beliefs they received from their parents during their early years.
There are some differences in hypnosis.
Younger children compared to adolescents and adults
- The language and approach are child-friendly to give the child a sense of familiarity, as children have a different understanding than adults.
- Since children generally have a shorter attention span, our hypnosis sessions are correspondingly shorter.
- Children often respond positively to hypnotic techniques that are playful and imaginative. We like to incorporate fantasy stories, role plays, or imaginary journeys into our sessions.
- For children up to 6 years old, presence and support during hypnosis is especially important to build trust and ensure your child feels comfortable. This is especially crucial in cases of childhood anxiety and anxiety.
